Hey guys!  Sorry I haven't been posting lately I got caught up in my trip and then had to head back to reality to start school again.  I chose a few of my favorite photos from some other places I visited in Spain and I hope you enjoy them!  I loved my trip and I would recommend everyone to go explore Spain and see all that it has to offer.  It really is a beautiful country and I learned so much through my internship and the people I met.  Now I am back in school and studying hard!  I submitted my application to pharmacy school and am in the process of waiting to see what the next steps are.  Cross your fingers for me!

After being here a week, I was able to get settled in and am able to give an update. Lagunas de Ruidera

Hey guys!  So on Wednesday we traveled to the Ruidera Lakes in Castile-La Mancha, Spain.  There are about 15 of these lagoons that vary in colors and are all interconnected through small canals.  We hiked first to the main waterfall, but it is so surrounded by nature that you can only see it from afar and cannot get too close to it.  Then we continued our hike until we came upon a bat cavern, so we put on our helmets and headlamps to head down under.  I couldn't see any bats, but it was interesting to see the layout of the cave and the beautiful crystals that formed in the ceiling.  Our visit was on a rainy day so we took cover in a restaurant for lunch and luckily it cleared up so we could go kayaking!  We kayaking around the lagoon and then had to drag our kayak through a small canal so that we could enter a new lagoon and swim around there.  The water was a clear blue and in some areas it was even turquoise, and it was possible to see the bottom most of t

Waterfalls of the Grand Canyon

Havasu Falls Mooney Falls Hike to Mooney Falls Navajo Falls The 10 mile hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was so worth it once I saw the first waterfall.  After hours under the hot sun and being covered in red dust the feeling of satisfaction came once I put my feet into the crystal blue water.  There were 4 waterfalls we swam in and our campground was right in the middle of them.  We put up our hammocks and survived off of nutella and bagels for 2 nights...with the occasional 2 mile hike to the cafe in the Supai village for a burger (I am American after all)  The waterfalls were spectacular and I wish I was able to take more photos but I was busy swimming in the water and enjoying myself to be too caught up with technology.  My favorite one was Mooney Falls which stood at 200 ft tall and required up to navigate down wooden ladders and rough terrain in order to reach the bottom of it.  We camped for 2 nights and then made our way out early in the morning to avoi
